Designed for a Long-Lasting, Engaging Chew Experience

The BuckHorn Crown Cut is expertly crafted for dogs who love a challenge while still enjoying access to the nutritious marrow inside. Unlike fully split chews that expose all the marrow, this cut provides a moderate marrow opening, giving dogs a rewarding chew that lasts significantly longer.

Why Choose the BuckHorn Crown Cut?

  • Available in 400-500g  / 17 -25 cm
  • Balanced Marrow Access – Just enough exposure keeps dogs engaged, but not too much to shorten chew time.
  •  Includes the Crown – The Strongest Part of the Antler – This ensures extra durability and a longer-lasting chew than standard cuts.
  • Long-Lasting & Durable – Holds up well against strong chewers while maintaining engagement.
  • 100% Natural & Sustainably Sourced – Free from additives, preservatives, or artificial flavours.
  • Promotes Dental Health – Helps scrape away plaque and tartar while strengthening teeth and gums.
  • Rich in Essential Minerals – Packed with calcium and phosphorus to support bone health.

Ideal for Power Chewers

This cut is perfect for dogs who need a durable chew but still enjoy flavourful marrow access. If your dog loves chewing but goes through fully split antlers too fast, the BuckHorn Cut is the perfect balance of challenge and reward.

Please note: The definition of antler size is based on weight, so these chews will be chunky and substantial! Most suited for powerful chewers & larger breeds.

Our Antlers are naturally shed, collected in British forests and have been cleaned (with no chemicals), cut into various sizes/weights for dogs to chew on. Sharp points have been removed to make them safe. Antler satisfies a dog’s natural urge to chew, helping strengthen and clean teeth. There is no odour from the antler, and as your dog grinds down the antler over time, there is only very little mess.

Being naturally grown, no two antlers are the same. Some are a more challenging dark brown colour, whilst others are a softer greyish/white. They also come in various shapes and sizes, keeping your dog interested for longer.

Our antler chews are sustainable, natural, shed, and local.

🦴 Antler Exchange Program

Sustainable chewing: Refresh Your Dog’s Antlers with Every Subscription

How the Antler Exchange Program Works:

Safety First – Small Chews & Choking Hazard

To keep dogs safe, we only accept small, well-used antler stubs that have become too small to chew safely. These small pieces can be a choking hazard.
When you send these in, we’ll exchange them for fresh antlers in your next subscription order, weight-for-weight (based on the accepted returns).

What We Accept - Small, genuinely pre-chewed antler stubs that are now unsafe to chew.
Examples: pieces your dog can’t hold between their paws, pieces that could be swallowed whole, or ends worn down to a short stub.

 What We Don’t Accept - Half-chewed / barely used / unchewed antlers.

Large or safe-to-chew pieces (the exchange is for small/unsafe remnants only).

Antlers that are wet/dirty or contaminated (please clean and dry before sending).

Who Can Use the Exchange - Available to subscribers with at least three previous active subscription orders.

How to Send Your Returns - Collect your dog’s small, unsafe bits. Weigh the returns and pack securely. Include your subscription details (name, order number, email/phone).Post them to us before your next subscription dispatch date. Post them to our address before your next subscription dispatch date.

📦 Return Address:

Unit 10

Return postage costs are not covered by us — customers are responsible for the cost of sending back small, unsafe antlers for exchange.

Your Replacement - We’ll include fresh antlers matching the total weight of the accepted returns in your next subscription order . Replacements are selected to match your usual subscription size/type.

Supervision & Care - Always supervise your dog while chewing. Remove and exchange any piece that becomes too small or sharp. Provide fresh water and choose sizes appropriate for your dog’s breed and chewing style.

Subscribers can now exchange old antlers for new ones.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our BuckHorn Crown - Durable Antler Chew with Balanced Marrow Access

The BuckHorn Crown is a unique antler chew made from the crown section of naturally shed deer antlers, with a carefully shaped cut that offers balanced marrow access. It’s designed to give dogs a tough, long-lasting chew while still letting them enjoy the nutritious marrow inside.
Unlike standard full antlers, the BuckHorn Crown has a partially exposed marrow core combined with the ultra-durable crown section. This means your dog can reach the tasty centre more easily than with a full antler, but it still lasts significantly longer than a fully split antler.
The BuckHorn Crown is ideal for strong, experienced chewers who love a challenge and need something more durable than softer chews. It’s especially good for medium to large breeds that can quickly destroy standard treats and need a tougher, more engaging option.
Yes, when used correctly. Each BuckHorn Crown is made from 100% naturally shed antler, cleaned without chemicals and cut with sharp points removed. As with all hard chews, you should always supervise your dog, choose an appropriate size and remove the chew if it becomes small enough to swallow or shows cracks or sharp edges.
Yes, the hard, textured antler surface encourages dogs to gnaw and grind, which helps to scrape away soft plaque and tartar from the teeth. Regular chewing supports healthier gums and fresher breath as part of your dog’s overall dental care routine.
Because it is a single-ingredient chew made only from deer antler, the BuckHorn Crown is naturally grain-free and hypoallergenic for many dogs. This makes it a good option for dogs who cannot tolerate common meat- or cereal-based treats, though you should still introduce it gradually and monitor your dog.
The BuckHorn Crown is generally recommended for dogs whose adult teeth have fully come in and are strong enough for a substantial chew—typically from around 12 months of age. For younger puppies, toy breeds or dogs with dental issues, a softer antler style may be more appropriate.
Longevity depends on your dog’s size and chewing style, but the BuckHorn Crown is designed to be a very long-lasting chew. Many moderate to strong chewers will enjoy the same piece over multiple sessions, wearing it down gradually over weeks rather than minutes.
Choose the BuckHorn Crown if your dog is a powerful chewer who needs extra durability but still enjoys quicker access to marrow than a full antler provides. If your dog is a gentle chewer or new to antlers, a split or softer antler may be better
Store the antler in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Because antlers are a natural, low-moisture product, they have a long shelf life, but you should discard the chew if it becomes excessively worn, cracked or too small to be safe for your dog.
